Christmas Sock/mitten drive – December 15, 2021 – 2 Jan. 2021

Dear friends of the Holy Cross Orthodox Monastery,

With the blessing of our Bishop Ioan Casian, Holy Cross Orthodox Monastery is joining this year the St. John the Compassionate Mission effort to collect as many socks for the people on the street – Toronto area.

Socks are such a small inglourious item, but a pair of socks touches the heart of a person through the soles of the feet!

Please, in this season of Christmas and New Year, in spite of Covid, feel some compassion for people on the street.

We kindly ask, when you come visit your monastery to please bring a pair of new socks, only if you can.
