Holy Cross Orthodox Monastery at Mono, Ontario seeks to be a loving, friendly community that worships God, and serves others. We place a high priority on teaching from the Bible and following the example of Jesus.

The Orthodox Monastery “Holy Cross” is under the spiritual and ecclesiastical authority (omofor) of His Grace, Bishop Ioan Casian, of the Romanian Orthodox Diocese of Canda.
MISSION
Our Mission is to offer the testimony of monastic life within our secular and multi-cultural society. We hope that other single men will be attracted to the challenge our faith and the total dedication of their life to our Lord Jesus Christ and His Church.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Our small monastery is supported mostly by the Romanian community. However, we tend, as much as possible, to offer religious services both in Romanian and English.
